I began at the age of 9 working in a small Italian corner market in Detroit earning $3 a week and became the richest kid in Detroit. Interrupted only by a call to the Army, I have been in the grocery business all my life.

My specialty in the meat industry rose in the 1960’s as my wife and I were raising our family and I dreamed of owning my own meat market. I told the kids we could all work together. Well, with the help of those very same kids, we have exceeded my expectations! Since 1978, it has been a great honor for us to be part of your daily and holiday gatherings. We hope to exceed your expectations!
